Answering interview questions and negotiating compensation is a learned ability that makes the difference between you and the next candidate. An offer goes to the person providing the best answers with the “right” chemistry and rapport.
We will help you be that person using body language, tone, and appearance effectively as well as how you answer the questions. We will prepare you for factual, blue sky and behavioral questions and how to ask questions that levels the playing field when it comes time to negotiate the offer.
You will need a web-cam for this hour session if you are a distant client. We will provide the collaboration space using Microsoft LiveMeeting.
Behavioral Interviewing Coaching
Next to case questions, behavioral interviewing questions create the most dread. Our approach is to answer every question as if it were a behavioral question to greatly improve the positive impression you evoke in the interview.
In fact every question can be an opportunity to sell, differentiate and stand out by answering questions differently than the norm. This is a simple process, once mastered that enables you to improvise great answers without rehearsal using a unique response style that brands and positions you.

Negotiating Compensation
A compensation package is more than a dollar amount and number of stock options, so we coach you in how to address the entire package and create a conversation about your compensation between equals. Together we will analyze the offer against your criteria, decide what is non-negotiable, and determine your trade-offs.
We coach you through the entire negotiation process from the initial money questions like “what are you currently making to handling details such as severance packages.” We provide the necessary tools and terminology used to help you determine the true value of stock option packages.
